Most Argentine's most middle class live in urban centers which offers the highest standard of living because business opportunities , education , and jobs are more readily available. Wealthy Argentine's live in mansions and luxury buildings. Poor workers and unemployed population live in suburban slums. In the 1900's economic problems led to the expansion of shantytowns. Wealthy landowners live in estancias (huge and luxury homes/ranches). Poor population live on small farms with modest houses built adobe (packed mud).Argentina's government provided free public elementary and high school education.Also Argentina has many privately funded schools that charge tuition. Argentina has about 80 universities , and about half of them are free public universities run by the government. Argentina also has a number of public and private vocational and technical schools. Argentine's are more than 90% roman catholic , but less than 20% of urban Catholics regularly practice their religion.Also soccer is the most popular sport in Argentina
Covid-19 impact on Argentina way of life
With the coronavirus pandemic on Argentina people who serve the slums and shantytowns of Buenos Aires are mobilizing their parish communities to tend to the needy. Nicolas Angelotti's parish had been feeding residents daily. Also they turn their churches and buildings into shelters to isolate people from the pandemic.They also established places for those who are infected by the covid-19 to receive care.
