The twelve Olympian Gods and Goddesses include Zeus, Hera, Poseidon, Demeter, Athena, Apollo, Artemis, Ares, Aphrodite, Hephaestus, Hermes, Hestia, Dionysius.
Nowadays the most predominant religion is Orthodoxy, the Greek Orthodox Church headed by the Archbishop of Athens is the most followed church in Greece with (about) 98% of the total Greek population being members.
Greece also supports other religions, such as Roman Catholicism, Protestantism, Judaism, and Islam.
✥Coronavirus Effects on Religion
The Greek Orthodox Church was closed due to the current situation to keep the distance from their religious leaders and to ensure the safety of all members. Many changes have been implemented in their rituals as well, such as; preventing the use of books and/or relacing the "Kiss of Peace" for just a gesture.
Recently, several demands got to re-open religious services in many Greek churches, the Orthodox Church included among them, allowing people, in small amounts, to attend church again.
